Access All Areas (AAA) was an effective communication conference held at the Barre Opera House in Barre, Vermont on Tuesday, November 18, 1997. The conference focused on creating access to the visual and performing arts and followed protocols described in Design for Accessibility: An Arts Administrator's Guide.

Held in conjunction with the Vermont Arts Council, more than 100 cultural venue staff, disability community members and interested artists attended this conference. In addition to speakers, this conference presented a visual arts exhibit and a dramatic performance that met Design for Accessibility's effective communication standards. The AAA conference was the first conferences of its kind in Vermont and was, to the best of our knowledge, the first arts conference in Vermont to use audio description for a live performance (as well as for the speakers).
