The show includes life-size hand-painted cardboard puppets, an accordion, and seven lively actors who portray a wide range of characters. Our subject is heavy, the show is not. The Pigs of Oz

This twenty five minute piece was created four years ago by people who are members of the Awareness Theater Company. It is a lively, comical peice that features pigs, a giant wolf that says "fe fi fo fum," and the usual characters from Oz. This peice has been performed at Thumbs Up (a local cabaret that features the talents of people with disabilities), The Bread and Puppet Theater’s Domestic Resurrection Circus, Burlington’s First Night, and at the Great Small Works Spaghetti Dinner in New York City on April 10, 2001.
